Lud's church

There is some interesting history and legend connected to this place - the Lollards were said to have held secret church services here in the early 1400s and it is possibly the site featured in the Arthurian legend Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It certainly has s unique atmosphere!

Full of atmosphere even before I read your footnote

Superb chasm and rock formation for this sacred place, 'Lud's Church. One can feel the atmosphere and sense an ethereal air! The rocks and vegetation twine resonate a natural premise where once there were church services and is expressed in this painting!
