St. Bertram’s Bridge, Ilam
Watercolour 12 x 9 inches. St. Bertram was a Mercian saint who lived as a hermit in the Staffordshire hills around Ilam. There is a holy well named after him on nearby Bunster Hill (I love that name!) and several churches dedicated to him. And this bridge, of course!
