Beautiful Sarah; I really like how the rainbow and the church are framed by the foreground foliage.

Really well painted Sarah 😊

A beautiful painting Sarah, rainbows are not easy to paint but your suggestion of the rainbow is spot on.

A lovely watercolour Sarah, especially the subtlety of the rainbow.

Like this a lot, Sarah! That rainbow is most effective in your sky!

Like the way you have suggested the rainbow.

Thank you very much everyone! I'm glad you like the rainbow , I've had attempts before which have gone wrong, so tried to be subtle this time!!

Lovely watercolour Sarah.

How nice is this and so small too. Very subtly done.

Thank you very much George and Heather - very much appreciated!

A lovely watercolour sketch Sarah.

A very lovely composition Sarah that is so pleasing to the eye.

Thank you Favid, Michael and Chris much appreciated! Michael, you made me laugh! Actually David woz ere a few years ago, to open the nature reserve! Must be an ancestral home ...

Lovely Sarah and very recognisable. Although I have never been there, I have seen the church from a distance, maybe from the train.

Terrific watercolour, Sarah. Rainbows are often over stated with a bright spectrum that can ruin the painting. I think you have got it exactly right here. -lovely.

Thank you very much Diane and Willie - very much appreciated! I've always liked the rainbows that Turner and Constable did so that was on my mind as I was painting! And, Diane, yes you would certainly see the church if you travel from Derby to Nottingham. I work in Nottingham so pass it on my commute! The urge to get off and have a walk on a beautiful morning can be great!!

Wonderfully understated Sarah, the church is perfectly framed by the foliage on the near bank.

Thank you very much Fiona!

A quick small 5 x 7 inches watercolour after a recent visit to Attenborough nature reserve. The weather was pretty dramatic!
