Thank you very much, Heather, Carrie, Fiona and Carole. Yes Fiona, we did walk to Old John! What a view eh? I used to get taken here as a child quite a bit and still love to visit. Some fabulous bluebell woods nearby too. Nice that you know it!

I’ve been a couple of times on my motorbike for a run out, hubby was born and lived in the west end Leicester, so I suppose this was his playground. Like yourself I come from Derbyshire.

I suppose I should reply, ' that's lovely duck' but perhaps not! It is nice though, the East Mids have a lot of hidden gems and it's nice to share them with those in the know!
