Your magnificent landmarks are making a super series Sarah. Lots of details but not over done…..like it very much.

Excellent work Sarah, it’s beautifully drawn with just the right amount of detailing.

Great sketch and colour.

Very impressive Sarah.

Very impressive, indeed, Sarah!!

Great work Sarah

Thank you very much Fiona Paul, Stephen, Lewis, David and Chris. Very much appreciated!

Great result of such a complex subject Sarah. Love the mixture of mediums you have used so effectively.

Thank you very much Carole!

Quite a project you took on there - one which not everyone would have the courage to take on; you've managed to incorporate just enough detail to create a convincing drawing of this magnificent building, and not so much that you risked losing the overall impact - because of course, and as you clearly realized, the eye just doesn't take in the level of detail that some of us like to incorporate in our drawings of architecture; you're in good company - was it Monet who painted glowing pictures of cathedrals which were totally recognizable, but devoid of detail? (I think it was, but it's early in the morning and my brain hasn't woken up yet..)

Thank you very much Robert! Yes it was Monet, his cathedral paintings are beautiful. I don't actually think I am capable of putting in too much detail - I always draw very quickly and it's a real challenge for me to slow down! Thanks again for the comment.

Very good Sarah and I agree with Fiona

Impressive, Sarah!
