Super drawing Sarah. I painted this view a while ago and I think a few others have done on this site! It’s a very appealing scene and there’s generally a small crowd around it looking and photographing.Look forward to the painting of it ever stops raining. 🙏

Thank you very much Tessa! Would love to see your painting. The sogginess made the yews look even more atmospheric and there were still a few die hard fans having photos taken! Fingers crossed for some consistent brighter weather soon!!

Pen drawing in A4 sketchbook which i will do colour to once we get some decent light! Had last weekend away in Warwickshire and visited a soggy Stow church where these beautiful yew trees grow next to a door. It possibly inspired Tolkein, hence the name. It's certainly atmospheric.
