5 delicious looking apples Sarah

Good work, Sarah - they look lovely apples from your tree !

Thank you Carole, Stephen, Denise, Spencer, Heather and Anne. Very much appreciated! They are Merton Worcester apples - I took one along to an Apple Day at Clumber Park to have it identified! They were very popular in the Thirties which is when our house was built so I like to think the tree is getting on a bit. It's very gnarly!

I'm misremembering- they were popular in the Fifties which still makes it a pretty old tree!

I do like how you have used the oil pastels to create a super still life. They certainly look delicious.

Nicely done Sarah!

Super job Sarah - can almost taste them.

I have a lovely old apple tree which reliably crops the nicest apples I've ever tasted. Oil pastel on oil painting paper, about 10 x 8 inches.
