Very beautiful Sarah, I like your nature scenes very much! Yes, sometimes painting takes a break, whether we like it or not, it just doesn't work. I have the "struggling" very often, it has almost become normal with me. Then I just have to wait until my muse kisses me again.

Thank you very much Tanja, and how right you are!

Lovely landscape Sarah

Really beautiful Sarah- so much atmosphere in this.

Thanks very much Stephen, Keith and Rachel - much appreciated.

Climbed this, it's a tough walk in a storm!

Lovely Sarah. Hope you get going again soon

I like how you have layered this painting and your loose brushstrokes Sarah. We all suffer from moments of self doubt and time is a big factor in being able to paint when life’s pressures prevent us from painting.

Thanks so much Heather, Martin and Carole - you are all right - i suppose the thing to do is not get frustrated and despondent, which is easier said than done as i am sure we all know! And Heather - i can imagine it was a tough climb in a storm! I climbed it on a beautiful May evening a few years ago - lovely.

Lovely work, Sarah. I like the sense of distance with the hill you have achieved, and the foreground is nicely expressive. It’s a big relief to see others have sudden chasms and lack of creative spirit that arrives out of the blue from time to time, when the paint brush just will not seem to cooperate, and no art work seems to be able to be produced!

Thanks very much for your comment Ann - no you are definitely not on your own!

I really like the subsequent layering of landscape from the foreground to the Tor itself Sarah. It will return and all will be right once again!

Thanks so much Spencer and Fiona- I shall keep the faith!

A piece that has much immediacy. Very nicely done, Sarah.

Thanks so much Seok

I'm struggling to fit painting in at the moment - very frustrating! Had a sort through some old stuff and a bit of a cull and found this which i did just before lockdown. Watercolour 7 x 5 inches.
