You captured the atmosphere of 'The Chase' Sarah, and I like the colours and tones. This is one of my 'Happy Hunting Grounds' too. I've had to give up driving for a while, so must content myself with the nearer Sutton Park; when the lockdown finishes! Nice work. Regards John

Hi Sarah. Sutton Park isn't so extensive as the Chase, but there was a time when it was actually part of the Chase. The Birmingham suburb of Kingstanding was named for the area from which the Monarch used to view his 'Chase', at least so I am informed. The Park is very close to the suburb and, as you will have seen, comprises a lot of heath land, much the same as parts of the Chase. It's one place I can take a taxi to access, and put my box of colours and a bottle of water in my 'knapsack'! Happy Painting Sarah. John

That's really interesting John, have done little bit of my family history and there are some ancestors in that part of the country so it's nice to imagine them there! Happy painting to you too.
