I agree with Carole, the river looks deep and fast moving even though there is hardly and surface movement. I like your palette too, soft pinks and greens……lovely.

Oil on board 24 x 30 cm . This is from the Chinese Bridge, between Derwentwater and Grange in Borrowdale. One of my favourite flat walks in the Lakes and everywhere! The river is lovely for a paddle or a swim, and Jonny, our springer spaniel, loves it!!
