That is really a lovely painting Sarah - It is interesting how flat the area is about Belvoir with the castle dominating the landscape!

Small oil of a little path leading away from the Grantham canal near Belvoir Castle. It's a lovely place to walk. The painting is on a smooth gesso board which I ordered by mistake so it was a challenge to paint on a smooth surface. I enjoyed having a go though!
