Beeware the bee in future! We had a wasps nest in the hedge a few weeks ago and I foolishly poked it to see if there were any in there. I never knew they could fly at what felt like the speed of light..stung twice but survived!

Another good and funny cartoon Satu! Please forgive the bee - they don't sting without a reason - unlike wasps - and their status is of concern. I do hope the sting site is less painful this morning.

I had to laugh when I saw this Satu, although you wouldn't have been laughing when stung. I love bees (hate wasps) in fact the name I use online is Beecrafty.

Thank you all so much for your comments! I survived but there is a large red area in my arm, a bit swollen and tender. It will be okay in a couple of days. Carole, don't worry about Saturday, it happens to me all the time. I have forgiven the bee because it was me who startled it by trying to get some weeds out the flower bed.....well, it could have shouted first.
