That pink touch seems to balance against the heavier darks in the btm left. Funny that, colours or marks? Love it.

Depth, perspective and colour-work is splendid Satu. So much more exciting and powerful than a concrete, specific image.

You always seem to be able to produce something exciting Satu, even when you are just 'playing'! I think your Nordic heritage shines through in this painting.

Satu, just seen this. What a powerful painting! Some beautiful contrasts of colour here and there too. Thank you so much for your comment on my cottage. Like you I did it at an afternoon group when I was stuck for what to paint. Often the quick time limited works come together surprisingly well, don't they.
