Blue pots. Challenge

Entry? Is there a prize? Shall have to have words with Thea though don't hold your breath! It's another winner Satu, super shapes and I can tell you had fun painting it.

Well, I did what you do without drawing, just straight in with the brush. Three different blues and a dab of some sort of red. And it's watercolour, an alien for me!! I'm sure that Thea has got a nice prize tucked away somewhere!

Talking of prizes, no, don't get excited.. Remember the Terry and Fiona portrait competition? Imagine the fun we'd have now with our new found 'linearism' skills entering that one! Another competition would be good (hint to POL)

I think this one is a winner! Lovely spattering which adds to the informality of the painting and super loose washes. I like the idea of Terry and Fiona (although I always think of them as Terry and June!) - will mull that one over.

Thank you Louise, Carole and Thea! Yes, a new completion would be great! We could ask Dawn to pass the word to the editor, couldn't we. It was such fun to see everybody's work and it was a serious challenge.

I'm back on POL just in time for this challenge of the blues and this is a winner! Looks like fun must give it a try.

So there's a blue challenge going on now is there? So easy to find the others on the new site by doing a search for 'blue'. ( may go back and do a nostalgic search for snails). I like this Satu.
