Lots of character in this one Satu and I love his ears! Hope you have a great day at your workshop.

I don't think you'll know the famous Mr Ed Satu, he was a TV talking horse character in the 1960's. Your one-liner is exactly like him! Enjoy your day, wish I could join you!

Ha ha thanks Satu, looks like he is saying 'have a great day too' a wonderful characterful horsey.Enjoy your workshop.

Wonderfully bold and confident drawing. I don't know about you, but the one line experiment has caused me to rethink my drawing techniques and definitely increased confidence with the paint brush. No messing about, no stressing and that confidence is evident from the one-line drawings we've seen on the site. Also, we're all trying different, unfamiliar subjects which is wonderful. It might be fun, but I feel that we're learning so much. I am anyway! I admire your enthusiasm as well, rushing this off before setting out to a workshop. Would you have done that before? Probably not!

Don Quixote s donkey...wonderful.

Thank you so much Debs, Christine, Carole, Louise and Sylvia for your comments! I had a lovely day and did three paintings, one waterfall and two lily ponds. Jamel is a wonderful teacher, enthusiastic and helpful. I'm quite exhausted now but very happy. Oh, yes, I did the first of the lily ponds upside down to start with but turned it right way up after about half an hour.

This could only be yours, Satu, as it has that marvellous humour and quirkiness about it. I just love it! Have you done horses before or has this drawing method tempted you to try all sorts of usually no-no subjects?

Thank you Thea very much for your kind comment! This is my second horse ever, the first was the oneliner at the beginning of this challenge but it was from behind so no horse faces before. This drawing method is so fantastic and has permitted me to try so many " forbidden" subjects. Like, I have never drawn a car until yesterday. I'll post it today for you to see.

What a wonderful character, Satu! Love that ornery look!

Thank you very much Seok and Gudrun!
