This is a super design and has enormous impact. Looks like you really enjoyed your day and came away with lovely work done.

Brilliant idea, glad you enjoyed your workshop Satu.

I last did this sort of thing oh ... 50 years ago: I wonder why I stopped (well, I left school, I suppose! And probably couldn't afford the equipment at the time). I've always liked linocuts - I suppose one can't do everything, though.... anyway: like your cub.

Your one-liner cat has worked really well as a linocut too Satu!

Thank you Very much Thea, Carole, Robert and Christine! Lino cuts can be made without a press by rubbing the paper with a spoon but the result is not as good as with the press.

Love this Satu! I'm hoping to do a print course this winter with Lisa Hooper, check her website 'Hoopoe prints' out, she does some super stuff. Like Robert, I last did anything like this at school.

Great result - bet you were really pleased

Thank you very much Fiona, Michael and Gudrun! I will check Lisa Hooper later and yes, Michael, I was very pleased.

Love this, Satu! Such wonderful use of lines which move the viewer's eye around. Did you ever get round to ordering a Gelli plate?

Thank you Seok! No, I haven't had time to even think about the Gelli plate! I did ask my local shop but they haven't even heard about it so it's online only, I think.

This is super Satu. Perhaps it's the "tiger" that was hunted by the Gendarmerie for two days before they decided it must have been a big cat! Made the news !

This a Lino cut I made yesterday while attending a workshop. It is a reproduction of CAT, the oneliner but because I had to simplify the original drawing to be able to cut the lino it looks more like a tiger cub. I printed it on several different papers and thoroughly enjoyed my day.
