Golden Age by Satu Vartiainen

Just looking through the gallery and up popped this, it made me laugh out loud! He looks a randy old codger and she looks like Madge from The Simpsons! It's so funny, I love it!

Instead of 'Golden age', you could have called it 'Randy Old Codger with Madge'. What a way to start the day, I also laughed out loud at Christine's perfect choice words..LOL. This is absolutely so clever Satu. The position of their hands, especially the pointed finger and their expressions works so very well. I'm finding that I'm tackling subjects that I wouldn't usually occur to me to draw which makes the whole one line so fascinating. You're very good at this!!

They do look as if they are hatching up a plan and they also look so lovely and comfy together - perhaps they have just escaped for the day :) OOOOh I agree, it is so clever!

They look like OAP partner's in crime - an old age Bonnie & Clyde no less! Expressions are wonderful and the attitude of the bodies totally convey the conspiratorial interaction between the two people. Super work.
