Rain in the City

I like this very much. Very successful.

Definitely not for the bin! I think it is interesting, with the shapes suggestive of city architecture. I do like the figures as well which show that it is a street scene rather than an abstract painting.. Lovely combination of colours too. Nice one, Satu.

It's certainly not for the bin! I like the design and I like the abstract; even the placement of the people is abstract, yet it does not feel out of place. This makes you think about what is going on and the answers are long and interesting. Great use of colours and shapes as always.

Definitely not the bin. I like the abstract use of color surrounding the subject, much better than the overdone rainy subject of grey painting with people holding red umbrellas.

I don't know of any painting of yours that is remotely fit for the bin, Satu! This is a fabulous piece - there's such great atmosphere and light in the piece, great composition, good contrast and balance. Superb!
