Love your sense of colour and design Satu. Great painting

The blocks of colour and the abstract arrangement make for an eye catching painting Satu.

Just my opinion and of course, I can't see it in real life, but I'd add some more colour top left quarter of the painting to the building with the white side (dark blue?) and possibly to the vertical shape (pale green?) just to the left of it it where it meets the sky. The left hand corner doesn't balance the other good shapes for me. It looks just a little unfinished there. It's your choice and like I said, just my thoughts on a super eye catching painting!

Shapes, shapes, shapes, love it the way it is.

Thank you very much Beverley, Christine, Louise and Michael for your kind comments! Yes Louise, you are absolutely right about the left hand corner. I noticed it also once I saw it on the screen and will add some colour there. Thank you for taking time to give your opinion!

Great style again Satu. Another lively and very eye catching painting.

I like the painting and the name. How do you make it look so effortless?

Very good Satu, lots of life and movement.

A gorgeous piece, Satu! I agree with Louise - perhaps a touch of color on the left corner to lend continuity, but that's a small point for a painting with very good bones!

Many thanks Julie, Sian, Stephen and Seok!

Well, I think it works as it is. Your abstracts are great.

Thank you very much Gudrun!

Love this - all those jumbled little houses and roofs. I do wish I could produce an abstract, but quite frankly I wouldn't know where to start.

Thank you very much Thea! It must be more difficult to create abstracts with watercolours but you could try by putting random blobs of fairly intense colours here and there on paper, adding water on top of them and letting it run. Once dry you could use your pen to draw shapes and see what happens.

I have had this for a while and today I finally managed to finish it or at least I think it's finished. Perhaps needs a bit of tiding up. Acrylic on canvas 50cm x 50cm.
