A[part from the two eyes I think I prefer the first version which has stronger darks towards the top but both versions are great.

Thank you very much for your comments Seok, Val, Louise and Michael! I didn't do anything to the darker area on the left hand side, it is still there but I had to take the photo with my iPad and the result is not as it should be. Somehow my camera and the computer don't like each other any more!

I have made some adjustments to the first version because of the staring eyes which were not meant to be there. I also made the vase to stand out more because it was a bit invisible.
