ps I have been toying with idea of doing my portraits on wooden panels, but they might be too heavy at the size I do.

I seem to always use the word explosive when I look at your work Satu. It really smacks you between the eyes and it's wonderfully refreshing!

I agree with Fiona, Satu - explosive comes to mind when I look at this! Full of life and movement, with touches of unexpected color at strategic places. Beautifully done!

Today's work! I ordered four wooden panels from Jackson's some days ago, only small ones to try. They are very light and beautiful but need to be well gessoed before painting. The panel is of course very rigid, much more than MDF, and will take time to get used to.
