Lovely colours and it does remind me of Finland.

Stunning painting Satu!

Hi Satu, I love the red hut set amongst the daisies! It reminded me of a Swedish holiday home owned by my Danish friend. This is red too, set in a forest. Lovely colours and I do like the semi abstract impression..

Thank you very much Vivienne for your kind comment! Finnish and Swedish summer cottages are very similar, often red and by a lake or the sea and forest of course.

Just flicking back through the gallery, I found this lovely painting. I am really sorry I haven't commented on this before now. I love the soft blues and purples in this, and the red building that really focuses the eye. Lots of lively movement in it too. You have great style Satu and I do admire it.
