Wonderful contrasting colours no printers block here.

A visual feast - love it

Sorry. Satu. NoPainters block

Beautiful painting. I love the textures, shapes and colours.

It is beautiful, Lovely colours used.

I think the point is, young Slyvia, that Satu has successfully painted herself OUT of painter's block. I like the strong colour and recession in this one - try it in oil as well one day?

Satu - I really really like this ! Have a painter's block more often - it's gorgeous, the sort of painting you have to keep coming back to. Great palette and composition

Sylvia, Michael, Gudrun, Sarah, Robert and Beverley, thank you very much for your comments. They are always much appreciated!

Robert, I have painted with oils before and they are absolutely wonderful but the problem is the lack of space to store them. I paint a lot and fairly big so I would need an enormous studio to have enough dustfree space to let them dry. I have also used fast drying oils and will certainly go back to them one day. Thanks for your comment!

I think we all know those times, want to do something but what to do? I have lots of photos, assorted subjects. My desperate measure is to chuck a random 25 or so on the floor and see if anything jumps out at me. usually there is something there that will spark a train of thought. Love the colours in the vineyard

Gosh, I wish I could pant something as vibrant as this generally, let alone whilst struggling with painter's block! What a great way to paint yourself out of it. Lovely!

Thank you very much Jenny and Julie!

An explosion of colour Satu.......just what we need on a dreary day like today!

Another beauty...... agree with Fiona; the sun has given up the battle ! Hope this painting has drawn you out of your doubts, it should have!

Thank you Fiona and Avril for your kind comments! Yes, I'm out of the fog again and ready for new battles with paints and canvases.

Absolutely superb, Satu! You can definitely still paint, and very well at that! Love the textures, the colors and the application of paint. Stunning!

Another super painting to add to your wonderful gallery. Well done!

Thank you very much Seok and Michael!

of course you can still paint :-p silly you :-) honestly your paintings out rank many here, and most would agree with me. I get painting blocks often, and have had one for about 8-12 weeks, but the doodling project i have found is helping :-) you mention to Robert a wondrous invention....fast drying oil paint :-o i did not know this existed :-p genius :-) your paintings are all excellent Satu

Thank you Rebecca, you are kind!

I have so enjoyed looking through your latest, Satu, and am very pleased to see such free pictures in acrylic. Can't wait to see what you do with your ipad if you get one for Christmas.

I had this photo of the Pyrenees mountains with a very colourful late autumn vineyard at the front. I suffered a bit of painter's block a couple of weeks ago so just had to do something to prove myself that I can still paint. It did help!
