This brought back many memories for me Satu as we used to visit Brittany every year when our children were young and Hornfleur was our favourite place. You've really captured the atmosphere of this lovely old town.

Really atmospheric and lovely. I have visited Honfleur and I can see exactly what you are getting at with the colours you have used and the shapes of the tall buildings. Great reflections in the harbour water as well.

I love all your work Satu, and this is fantastic. I think the composition is great and I love the vertical lines of the buildings that draw the eyes down to the boats. The reflections in the water and the water itself are very effective. A lovely piece. Let's see some more!

I love the colours, the shapes and those tall buildings. The bold application of paint and the 'unfinished' look give it a charming quality.

I visited this lovely old town of Honfleur last week and got really inspired ( like thousands of other artists! ) by the tall, nearly pastel coloured town houses and boats. I used MDF board, 60cm-60cm, and applied the paint with palette knife.
