Like it....

Well, it looks to me as if you intended every one of those millions of glazes, so it's come triumphantly right at the end. It's odd - I always say, if anyone's daft enough to ask, that I don't really like still life: but then I see one like this, and my opinion is transformed. It's the richness of your surface in this case, I think, and on other occasions the vibrancy of your work.

I really like this still life Satu, lovely colours, composition and light, great painting

A very calm and restful painting. It has a timeless quality to it.

Shapes - just love the shapes and so compositionaly perfect - great painting Satu

I agree with everyones comments Satu. The composition, the palette and the light, especially on the darker pot, is faultless.

Thank you so much Ruth, Robert, Petra, Sylvia, Michael and Val for your kind and so encouraging comments - very much appreciated!!

I like it too Satu, I agree with everyones comments.....great still life.

The light and shadows are so well done. I love the pale background, really makes the bottles stand out.

Very beautiful Satu. Maybe the fact of putting many glazes has given volume and depth of colour to your pots. Lovely colour combination....you did it again!

Thank you Fiona, Carole and Avril!

You can paint anything you want, it is always something special, Satu. Stunning colours!

It's so starkly elegant and beautiful, Satu! A super piece!

Thank you very much Mia and Seok!

Many congratulations Satu. This beautiful painting deserves the publication in A&I, well done

Just bought the latest A&i Satu and see you have been featured in their Portfolio! You must be so pleased and it is certainly very well deserved.

Thank you so much Petra and Christine! I just came back from holiday and saw my painting in A&I and I'm absolutely thrilled!!

Acrylic painting on canvas 51 cm x 60cm. I have been working on this for well over a week and probably started with a too watery colour and I had to apply millions of glazes to get a satistactory result.
