Rachel's comment was spot on--using a "warm grey" instead of the more "usual" cool blue-toned grey is most appealing. I also like the softened background against the bold strokes of white on the trees. It is a beautiful painting, Sarah.

Painted this morning after we had quite a lot of snow. There was plenty of people walking their dogs so decided to include a couple. Oil on wood panel 10x8in.
