It's always a problem to avoid sentimentalizing paintings of animals - a problem you've overcome absolutely, even in your dogs in fancy dress, I think. These latest postings are magnificently accomplished.

Yes, Robert - I have never liked the sentimentalization of dog portraits - and have ripped up many which have gone the wrong direction. Better now, I think. Thank you so much. Sarah
