Dear Sandra, a great picture of Ms. Taylor yes she was a very beautiful lady and very photogenic you have got her eyes perfect they really were exceptional. Do you remember her in the film "Giant" she starred in that with James Dean it was filmed way back in 1955 and at that time she looked just like you have portrayed her in your painting. This painting was done as part of the work towards my Foundation Art Degree . I have finished for the year and what a busy year it's been as I also set up an Art materials shop called Hobby House whilst studying. As times are hard and the business is just starting to see some regular custom I have decided to sell this piece . I want £300 for it.It is painted on a 24x30in deep edge canvas in Acrylic and has swarovski gem crystals for the eyes. It looks at materialism and how we use material objects like bandages to cover our emotional shortcomings. Elizabeth was known for her jewellery and Violet eyes as well as her acting so I thought her image on the canvas(damaged and repaired as part of the work)was fitting.
