Self Portrait

Great self-portrait, Sandra, you are very talented.

Thank you Cesare . This was a new venture into pastels , and I enjoyed the creaminess and vibrancy of the colours. The Self Portrait is a favourite subject for me ,because it allows for much more than just flesh and bone on the canvas., There is the possibility of much emotional content...It becomes a self analysis of sorts, and an inward looking expression of our state at the time...I love looking at other Artists Self Portraits for that reason.....
