70 year old guide

this is so characterful Sam, you have captured his expression so well, not to mention how amazing it is that he is still working as a guide at 70!

Thanks, I had to paint him with his eyes closed as that was the way the photo was taken....I think his face just looks so interesting and tells a story....I enjoyed painting him and its the first time I have picked up the brushes since I had an operation to remove a brain tumour 7 1/2 weeks ago, so feel its an achievement for me
