Acrylic, pen & ink on MDF (Masonite) panel. H13.5†x W23.5†(H34 x W60 cm). Depicts the church at Gravdal, near Leknes in the Norwegian Lofoten Islands. I chose this 16:9 format because when vertical it affords the opportunity to achieve enormous depth in a painting. That almost always involves minute detail, too - which is what I loe to paint.
