This is really rather special - a huge amount of work in it, although of course that's not the point, and the touch of red on the far left balances the picture well; trees beautifully done, and of course you were wise to keep the sky simple; fabulous blue, by the way. And as for the water .... just spot on. Congratulations.

I agree entirely with Robert, in fact I feel that your gallery is quite special in its own way. Thank you.

All your pictures have a very nice effect on me. They are detailed, crisp and tranquil.

Acrylic on box canvas.H10 ins x W 12ins (H25.5cm x W31cm). Depicts a scene at Marholmen, in the Roslags archipelago, Sweden on a glorious summer's day.. I added the Haiku poem to give the painting the added dimensions of sound - and what we cannot see: i.e. the sound of whispering trees and children playing unseen. We know they are there only because the poem tells us.
