And I would like to be able to keep it as simple as yours Helen Jones, but I sometimes end up keeping too much details which turns out to be bad. Keep it simple the way you do it, you have a great technique. I need to practice and try to rather keep the minimum details, I think! But I have the same problem as You, I get overwhelmed too.

This is a place where the water is very calm and there is always a nice reflection in the water. In contrast there are so many antennas pointing like arrows to the sky. I really enjoyed myself painting this one, specially the reflections. Water colour on paper. Size about 27.5 X 39.5 cm Sold . Comments are welcome.
