At weekends my wife, myself and our dog Lilly walk across the fields at Shawford and around St Mary the Virgin church in Twyford village, Hampshire. I took this photograph in August 2019 of the back path to the church from the village. I was struck by the wonderful grasses that are left around the edges of the meadows after they have been cut to provide hay to farmers. I believe this painting deserves to show off this beautiful countryside view.
