Hi Colin, I spend a lot of my time around Rye and I must say that you have captured this famous street perfectly ! Brilliant

Hi Colin, This is a cracker mate. The foreground shade and distance sunlight works well. Not easy to do with out making it all look the same colour really. Paint on.

Brilliant! We stayed in Jekes house, glad to say there was no ice then! I've just been reading your blog...I took a photo of an old door when i was in St ives last month...I'd be happy to send it to you if you give me your address/e-mail. It's old, with peeling paint and a rusty knocker!

hi, i haven't been there but it looks about right to me..chris

All excellent work very impressive

Nice work. It even looks cold. Great detail.

Beautiful work ,well done.

Hi, Colin, Better late than never for comments (I'm new here). I have been to Rye, but that's not why I like this. It's simply wonderful.

Love this Colin, it is like going back in time...quite magical. Do you grid your work? Makes me homesick for England. heers ~ Anni :)

Lovely gallery. Beautiful light and perspective.

Snow covering Rye's most famous street. A slippery trip down the icy, cobbled Mermaid Street. The Mermaid Inn is to the right, its sign dusted with snow. Giclee print from Acrylic painting (12 ins X 18 ins) by Colin Bailey - www.ryepress.com
