These are so clever. Do you write stories to go with them ??Great fun. I had a quick look on tGoogle. Ruth for Bishops Palace, and from what i can gather it has gone and now has a block of flats on the site, progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am pleased you like my Bull Bay. Anglesey is so lovely. I dont live on the island but can be there inside an hour..lucky me.

Beautiful, vibrant colour, and lovely drawing. I particularly like some of the cooking utensil detail in this! What fun :)

I love the glow-worm, isn't he kind. Hope the bunny family offer him a share of the strawberry tea. Another lovely drawing.

I love your title. The creative idea of this is great. One of the other members Rod Stewart, gave a link for a book he had published online with photos and poetry he had written. It was beautiful. Perhaps, you could dream up some more of the story and illustrate accordingly and publish yourself. If nothing else it would become a family treasure.

I agree; these are so clever. YOu really must get them published.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I do think about self publishing, the books would sell locally I think...Costly, but life is for living and experiencing, isn't it!!! And....that trite old saying,, 'You can't take it with you...' that's if you've got it to take to begin with! I might try a children's publisher again, but I need to cut down on my text for very young children. I have had two books published but with other people's text. Submitting work is a long drawn out process with a lot of disappointments...everybody is writing and illustrating stories, so it is also highly competetive, alas. I feel very encouraged by your comments though! The ideal route to go down is the illustrating commission route, and I don't always have the energy for deadlines, these days. It might be fun, but a lot of pressure.

Hi Ruth, this is lovely and I just know that my grandson would love a story like this with the pictures, lots of imagination in this which is what children love, don't give in keep trying Im sure some one out there would love to publish this. Its wonderful stuff.

Gorgeous, your illustrations always bring a smile to my face. Smashing.

Another really great one Ruth, love it

Thank you all for your lovely remarks, it's my pleasure to show them to you.

This is for you, Beatrice. Gilly Glow-worm has come to light up Mrs. Rabbit's house when her front door is blocked by the giant strawberry, (later eaten) and the rabbit children, Willy, Billy, Mary-Jane and Joe are frightened in the sudden darkness So... hope it makes you smile.
