This painting was started in April and has been quite a marathon! It hasn't been an easy journey, but it has been a great challenge in larger-scale painting. The subject was inspired by the wonderful music of Rick Miller - the song is also called 'Return to Uqbar'- one of my favourites: http://rickmiller.bandcamp.com/track/return-to-uqbar. Painted with Atelier Interactive acrylics on an 18" X 24" linen canvas. I used one of my own reference photos, 'A Noble Beauty' for the horse, which is available for artists to use on PaintMyPhoto - http://paintmyphoto.ning.com/
