very good design ,wonderful work have you been to art college ? these are the type of design painting one of our tutors loved and had us doing ,one day a week ,,,my favorites though not so much squared of were the paisley designs for ladies dresses ,these remind me of the lino designs. at the time we had to produce .I think they are great.and its lovely to see them . black and white only, in shades of greys,he often pushed us to do..,love to see one by you, , my sons college has a large printing machine for printing designs on cloth,for the creative design group .these are ideas that would be ideal ,

Hello Alan,thank you for your great comments,no I havent been to art college,only been doing this for about a year as do suffer with my back every now and then and this was something i found I could do while its mending itself, and just trying to learn as I go,probably need to learn more about colours ect,but find I really enjoy having a blank canvas and make it up as I go along. Will be trying something a bit more technical so will probably have to sketch it first so I know what goes over/under ect. Thanks again for the feedback,and to everyone for giving up there time to comment it is much appreciated. Could you let me have a reference or link of what you mean about the designs you would like me to try,and ill attempt one and see how it goes. Russ
