Italian lake

Beautiful scenery, Romila. For me, the clouds are ok but I don’t paint in oil, so no advice here from me.

Such a tranquil scene Romila. The clouds look fine to me as I like the slightly misty look you have achieved.

It all looks good to me, clouds aren’t difficult to paint with oils, don’t make them too grey, they look dead and lifeless! even the darkest clouds have colour… mauve and purple for instance! Light red and ultramarine blue makes for good bold dramatic clouds.

Lovely oil painting, I would use more white and use a rag to smooth the paint ,to make it lighter at the back of the mountain Romila. Perhaps it was a stormy evening.
