Another lovely watercolour Roland, interesting to read your thoughts about the design.

Thank you Stephen.

This is such an accomplished watercolour - I especially love the loose washes for the reflections

Beautifully done, the washes are beautifully luminous and sparkle in all the right places.

Your drawing and ' drawing' ruse works very well in taking the eye

Beautiful wet washes and I like the little touches such as the white ripples across the reflections. I enjoyed watching your videos and you've made me think about digging out my rarely used hake brush again and being much freer with my washes.

Gorgeous colours and atmosphere.

Lynn, Seok, Derek, Val and Audrey, thanks so much for taking time to view my work I appreciate your comments very much.

Derek, to be honest my drawing is a bit of a concern. I'm rarely happy with it and to work on that issue in the short term is difficult. So I just hope it develops in the long term... Many thanks again for your time and comments.

Love them one and all Roland magical

Love the reflections - great painting.

Dennis, Joesph. Thanks so much.

A magnificent expression, not only of the essence of the scene but of also that of the medium.

In the heart of west Cork lies Roancarrig light, I've attempted to keep this painting as "quiet" as possible in relation to the sky and water, trying to use the buildings reflections to draw the eye across to the rocks and on to the focal point.
