Worcester Cathedral From The RNIB Boathouse Steps Original Oil Painting on canvas 56 X 41 cm. The beautiful Cathedral city of Worcester with its university is situated on the banks of the River Severn, in Worcestershire, England. Nearby are the picturesque landscapes of the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds. Worcester was the stage on which the final battle of the Civil War was faught, with Oliver Cromwell's arm defeated King Charles II's Cavaliers. New College Worcester Watersports Centre Boathouse, which is located next to the Worcester County Cricket Club grounds. The swans very obligingly posed in just the right place when I was taking the photograph for this artwork.
