Hello and thank you all for kind comments. Gudrun, we had a bad year last year...lost both cockers in the space of a few weeks...devastating and couldn't paint for months. They were 17 and 15 and we were inseparable. Art work has lost its appeal so am dabbling...hope that you are well..R

I don't know where time goes! I am sorry to hear about your companions. However, they were long lived! You are right about having to be inspired and having energy to create art. I can't turn up at 'the studio' at 9am and say this is the production line today. I have a lot of thinking time and planning in my head. Then when that is complete the 'doing' is switched on. I have several projects in various stages - awaiting final thoughts!!

Of course, winter light is a nightmare and you can only do certain things with a daylight lamp.
