Amazing observation and wonderful rendition of decay Roger.

Beautifully done Roger.

What a ridiculous idea...a turnip on a vase! Bravo!!! Wonderful painting. Its very, very good. Lovely glass.

How different we all are in what we choose to paint, Roger. I can appreciate the nuances of the decay etc ( and you 've painted this beautifully again ) but I couldn't paint this myself. No, my version might be a turnip top growing on a saucer of water - we did that when we were kids. Beginnings I suppose, rather than endings....

The gradual decay is interesting. Form and texture change daily and that maintains the interest.Oil on canvas 50x37cm
