I agree! Love the lighting. It's rather haunting, much like the pomegranates.

Poor old pomegranates - that's how mine ended up when I was painting them, never got a chance to eat them. Very "Caravaggio" Roger.

There is something about organic objects as they age...a quality that transcends pristine and takes on a unique character of maturity with dignity. Well, that's what I tell myself whenever I make the mistake of looking at the mirror and before the effects of the tablets have worn off!..Oil on canvas 40cm x 30cm
