I'm becoming fascinated with interior paintings just lately, (as I've just begun trying a few myself) you have a knack of depth and that something in the corner, or just around the door interest in yours, which I am missing in my own.

Poor Muse..standing for ever holding a stinking paraffin lamp! Not really...said lamp was suspended while she simulated support. The window, with its thin, Victorian glass and rotting frame, has now gone, replaced by ubiquitous and characterless plastic. Better for heat retention and security, certainly...but still a shame. A safe and enjoyable holiday to everyone! Oil on canvas 104cm x 47cm Better viewed large
