Basia....Small Lamp, Much Light
Poor Muse..standing for ever holding a stinking paraffin lamp! Not really...said lamp was suspended while she simulated support. The window, with its thin, Victorian glass and rotting frame, has now gone, replaced by ubiquitous and characterless plastic. Better for heat retention and security, certainly...but still a shame.
