This is very interesting Roger, well done. The children look so intense on listening. The settee material is very well executed.

The detail in this is amazing Roger, yet not photographic, definitely a painting. It's like a moment frozen in time. I think we all had a"monstera deliciosa" too (or a rubber plant!). As Carole has said, it's very interesting to look at, and so well done.

Excellent quality to the delightful oil painting Roger so much detail in it must have taken you a long, long time

Thank you to all three of you. I can't recall if it was bribery that kept them there on the few occasions of posing or super glue!

I like the fact that you haven't made it photo realistic. I agree it is a painting with so much depth and interest. It's great.

Any of you dare to look back on old photographs of the way that your children used to be? This is as close as I get. The albums remain shut but the paintings still hang on the walls. Ultimately, there is no escape!
