Super self portrait in oils Roger, very atmospheric of course with the paraffin lamp light, you look rather worried! Self portraits have that effect don't they!

Intriguing composition and very effective. I have to put on my biobulb at the moment to be able to see so I would baulk at a paraffin lamp!!!

Painted by paraffin lamp light...very smelly, blackened ceiling and had to re- decorate. By no means recent. Thanks for kind words on Aubergines...not expected. Next week...Garlic! Will have to take care not to breathe over partner.
