I have to say that good as these apples are, they are not on par with your other fruit and veg. Your lack of interest in them is evident! This is a good lesson for us all! Any lack of interest or conviction will show in a painting however much you try and hide it.

actually I rather like them... though not sure about the bouncy third one on the right.

Comments here tend to be approval, which is fine of course and very welcome as they are supportive and encouraging, but I am as interested in criticism which gives a different slant and am always open to other's ideas and suggestions. Images that we create are never definitive.

You're welcome! By the way, you initial summation of that chap (now deleted) was spot on. I wouldn't waste time on it.

First apple painting and have to say that I hadn't the slightest interest in the whole exercise which was a struggle from first to last. Unfortunately there will be another. I could groan for Gormenghast. Better viewed large, but not a lot!
