Cow Parsley, Warkworth Dunes

Another nice one

I saw this one “ in the flesh” and I think it seems less vibrant on the screen. In reality the greens sing out.

Thank you both. I've taken a few photographs this morning and I try to choose the best. I rejected one of Waren Mill because it was a bit too bright and not quite true to the pastel. Taken within seconds of the one I decided to use. I didn't move anything. Some are saved to my phone as HEIC or something like that. J-pegs needed to upload. Can anyone tell me, please, whether I can control this.

12" x 16" plein air pastel 29th May 2023 It was the delicate texture of the flowers around the fence which attracted me. Should I have chosen a subject which is more than 50% green? How would an artist such as Richard Suckling deal with all the green? I think I could have made the distant dunes a more sandy colour to distinguish them better from the foreground greens. I realise that British subjects in May don't offer the high key colours and deep shadows of Richard's Spanish subjects, which I so admire.
