I think this is a better photograph. Thank you for all your comments. 16" x 16"oil on canvas. I've started this kind of subject so many times and never finished a painting because I've never been satisfied with progress. This time, I think I've finished. The subject is from memory and imagination, based loosely on the view from Burdon towards the edge of Seaham. The inspiration to try again came from the February issue of The Artist and the paintings of Janine Baldwin. Something to do during isolation.
